We are a relatively small club and dedicate ourselves to our bikes and riding.
At times we may take our partners with us but we meet on Sunday afternoons, the Tanners in Rochdale for now is the meet, and from there we start the ride, it could take any direction of the compass.
Glasson Dock is popular, we enjoy the ride and the company we keep but now the sun seems to be shining, Squires Cafe and a massive meet that gets there, is, if nothing else compelling.
Another popular biking haunt is Rivington Barn but is maybe to close to us to be able to give the bike a good breath !
Well there has been a bit of a developement recently, all the members of "The Cowboys" had a vote to see where they wanted to take the club and it was decided that to take the club a bit further that we would run alongside of the Whitworth Warriors Mcc and see what happens.
"The Warriors" agreed to this happening so all we can now do is wait and see what transpires from this joint partnership !!
Well we had our first joint ride-out on Thursday 25th May 2006.
It was a FULL pub at the "Crusader's" (Church Inn )and lots of laughs, getting to meet new friends and some old ones at that !!
The pub looked good outside as well with all the bikes, maybe summer is coming and more ride outs will be on the cards.
We went with a learner and she was able to keep up with us as well. Gregg suffered with his bike a bit but got over the LITTLE problem he was having with his bike (sorry Gregg had to mention it !) All in all a succesful night, look forward to the next one.
